SEX FORUM Men think about food more than having sex

-

IT’S well known that a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach – and now scientists have proved it.

A sex study has found that randy blokes think about sex on average 18 times a day.

But surprisingly, having a good meal pops into men’s heads just as often!

Figures published in the Journal of Sex Research show that although the statistic is lower than previously thought, it is still EIGHT times higher than women, who think about a good nosh just 10 times a day.

Study author Professor Terri Fisher said: “Since we looked at those other types of need-related thoughts, we found there’s not just a difference with regard to thoughts about sex, but also with regard to thoughts about sleep and food.

“That’s very significant – and this suggests males might be having more of these thoughts than women are, or that they have an easier time identifying the thoughts.

“It’s difficult to know, but what is clear is it’s not uniquely sex that they’re spending more time thinking about, but other issues related to their biological needs, too.”

Scientists studied 160 women and 120 men, aged 18 to 25. And the results showed that men thought about sex between one and 388 times daily, with a median of 18.

But women thought about it between one and 140 times a day, with an average of 10.

Results also showed that those who claimed to be most comfortable with their sexuality when questioned beforehand, thought more about sex.

Busty model Nikki McManus, 22, of Mablethorpe, Lincs, said: “My fella loves his grub, so if I’m horny I bake a cake and he comes running.

“And then I make sure he can’t keep his hands off me by having some fun with whipped cream!

“Men may think of sex more than women, but I don’t know if that’s the case with me – I always have bonking on the brain.”
