Says internet road rage sensation Ronnie

INTERNET road rager Ronnie Pickering has defended his foul-mouthed rant at a moped rider, calling the man ‘a muppet’.

Video footage of the outburst filmed by the man on the moped went global when it was uploaded to YouTube.

Now Ronnie has finally opened up, insisting that he’s just an “easy-going guy” who was “baited” into handing out “a bollocking”.

The 54-year-old was caught on camera losing his rag as he drove back from a shopping trip to Asda with his girlfriend.

In the midst of the heated exchange, Ronnie asked his victim: “Do you know who I am? I’m Ronnie Pickering.”

His supposed notoriety was lost entirely on the moped rider, who shared the footage of their clash online.

Hull man Ronnie has since been mocked by a catalogue of memes, video edits and fake social media accounts.
