SEX FORUM THE JOY OF SPECS

-

MORE than a quarter of blokes bonk with their glasses on – so they can see what they’re doing, a new study shows.

Figures reveal that 26 per cent of British males admit they would leave their spectacles on in the bedroom.

Guys from the East Midlands were most likely to be seen wearing their frames between the sheets – with 28% saying they never take off their visual aids, even when romping with their partner.

And the poll shows that fellas from the North East were the least likely to keep their glasses on.

But it is older guys – aged 55 or above – that hold on to their frames in a clinch.

Despite four-eyed fellas opting for the optics, women prefer to go blurry – with just 16% keeping their specs on during steamy sex sessions.

The survey, which saw 1,000 adults asked by OnePoll, was commissioned by London’s Focus Clinic.

Head surgeon David Allamby said: “It’s surprising that so many UK men are opting not to take off their glasses in the bedroom.

“Perhaps they simply don’t want to miss out on any of the detail.”

The study, whose results were published to coincide with National Eye Health Week, also offered a revealing hint at Britain’s dating habits.

Around 38% of women and 28% of men said they get rid of their glasses while they’re on a date.

The poll showed 39% of women are likely to banish their glasses while taking a picture to upload to a dating website, compared to just 25% of men.

Saucy Rosie Lee, 21, from Brighton, said: “If a guy turns up to a first date with me wearing his specs he’s definitely coming back to mine. “It’s a very sexy look. “And I obviously want him to keep them on when things get steamy – so he has a good view of the action.”
