babes like Anna Nicole Smith IT’S the end of an era – as iconic magazine have revealed they are going to stop publishing NUDES!

The legendary gentlemen’s mag has become renowned for its raunchy fully naked photoshoot­s – but all that is set to come to an end in just six months.

The magazine launched in December 1953 and featured steamy stripped-off snaps of busty actress Marilyn Monroe in its first ever edition.

And A-list scorchers such as Anna Nicole Smith, Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey and Pamela Anderson have all graced the pages of Playboy over the years.

But after 62 years the publishers have made the shock announceme­nt that they will no longer feature in-the-raw pics in their magazine, March next year.

Scott Flanders, the firm’s chief executive, said: “That battle has been fought and won.

“You’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free. And so it’s just passé at this juncture.”

Playboy explained that explicit images and content is easily available online these days so their mag no longer serves the same purpose.

Their website got rid of nudity in August last year – and the company said that traffic quadrupled as a result.
