17-MINUTE RAPE VIDEO ‘FOUND ON BECKY COUPLE’S LAPTOP’ Court hears of accused pair’s ‘shared unnatural interests’

-

A LAPTOP found at the home of Nathan Matthews and Shauna Hoare contained a 17-minute video of a teenager being raped in her own home, a jury has heard.

Matthews, 28, and Hoare, 21, are accused of murdering Becky Watts in her home in Crown Hill, Bristol, on February 19.

It is alleged the pair targeted 5ft 1in Becky due to a shared unnatural interest in petite teenage girls.

Bristol Crown Court has heard Becky was killed in her bedroom before her body was placed in the back of the couple’s Vauxhall Zafira.

It was then driven to their home in Cotton Mill Lane, Bristol, where it was dismembered in the bath with a circular saw. Becky’s body parts were discovered in a garden shed in Barton Court – 80yards from their terraced property – on March 3.

Richard Posner, junior prosecuting counsel, read a series of agreed facts to the jury including evidence on fingerprints, custody records and digital material.

“A laptop computer HP Pavilion VICTIM: Becky and ( accused Shauna Hoare was found under the window in the main bedroom in 14 Cotton Mill Lane,” Mr Posner said.

“On it was a 17-minute film with a teenager being raped with the title House. It contains the attacker putting his hand over her mouth for one minute.”

Forensic downloads of phones handed to police by Hoare and Matthews contained bookmarked websites. There were 38 bookmarked pages related to pornography or escort sites.

On Matthews’s phone, 12 were from a teenage pornography site. Three were of threesomes.

The trial continues.
