Henry blows up waterfall

-

STRONG winds which brought havoc to the UK on Monday even upset the course of nature – by blowing waterfalls BACKWARDS.

Powerful blasts from Storm Henry on the Isle of Mull, Scotland, were so strong they turned the waterfall upside down.

Reuben O’Connell, 35, who works for Isle of Mull Cottages and witnessed the phenomenon, said: “It was about as strong as winds get around here and you sometimes see these things. It is quite dramatic in this weather.”

The spectacle was in a part of the island known as The Wilderness and film of it has clocked up more than 900,000 views on the letting firm’s Facebook page.

Storm Henry battered parts of the country with up to 90mph winds and left thousands of homes without power.
