SEX FORUM Lots of casual sex is not just fun – it’s best way to stay happy

BOFFINS have revealed the key to happiness could be... SLEEPING AROUND.

According to a new study, people who have more casual sex are happier because it can boost self-confidence.

The survey found that both men and women benefited psychologically from regularly engaging in no-strings-attached shagging sessions.

More than 300 students took part in the study, which followed them for 12 weeks and assessed their lifestyles to see whether people who were less sexually inhibited were happier or not.

A source said: “Casual sex has become the norm among young people, raising concerns regarding its well-being consequences.

“This particular study examined the moderating influence of sociosexuality on psychological well-being (self-esteem, life satisfaction, depression and anxiety) following penetrative casual sex.

“Sociosexually unrestricted students typically reported higher well-being after having casual sex compared to not having casual sex.”

The results also showed that those who had more casual sex had higher self-esteem.

We asked Sport scorcher Kelly Holland what she thinks of the new findings.

The 23-year-old glamour model, from Luton, said she is a big fan of casual sex and doesn’t see why there should be such a stigma attached to bonking whoever you want.

Kelly said: “I will hold my hands up and admit I do have casual sex quite often.

“If I’m not looking for a relationship, what’s wrong with me using men purely for my sexual needs?

“I’m glad this study has revealed it can actually make people happier, because then maybe people won’t think of it as such a bad thing.

“That opinion really is so old-fashioned.

“As a modern woman, I think I should have the right to f**k anyone I find attractive.”
