Rita set for The Voice comeback

-

DUMPED judge Rita Ora has found the perfect way to get revenge on the show’s boss Simon Cowell – by re-joining

Rita was on the judging panel alongside Simon, Nick Grimshaw and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on the last series of the ITV singing show, but the

singer wasn’t invited back for a second stint.

And now insiders have revealed that the 25-year-old chart topper could be set to return to her original role as a mentor on which was recently snapped up by ITV.

A source said: “Rita caught Simon’s eye in 2015 because of how well she did as a mentor on

“But something just didn’t seem to click on

“The team behind were gutted when she left the show for its rival last year.

“But Rita is hot property right now – both here and in the States – so they would have her back in a heartbeat.

“And Simon knows if Rita turns out to be their secret weapon, he will only have himself to blame for letting her go and basically handing her over to them on a silver platter.”

Rita was a coach on the fourth series of the BBC1 talent show, which sees hopefuls perform ‘blindly’ for the judges who pick their favourites based on their voices alone.
