EU REMAINERS

THIS year’s sore losers award, however, must go to the Remainers in the EU referendum after Britain voted to leave.

A succession of the great and the good – from Hollywood superstars living in California to politicians we’ve never heard of before and are unlikely to again – queued up to say it was the wrong result and we should have more referendums until we get it right.

Labour MP David Lammy has even gone so far as to urge Parliament to ‘stop this madness’ and to vote against the decision to leave the EU.

So much for the “will of the people”.
