Footie star Bards red cards wife’s birth filming plan

WAG Tanya Bardsley confessed she wanted to strap CAMERAS to her ankles to record her birth.

The wife of Stoke defender Phil Bardsley gave birth to her fourth child earlier this month – and admitted she had considered filming it for TV.

Tanya, who stars in ITVBe series The Real Housewives of Cheshire, said the only reason her birth wasn’t recorded was because husband Phil, 31, put his foot down.

The 34-year-old said: “I would have loved for the birth to be filmed.

“My series producer would have had GoPro cameras on my ankles and everything if he’d had his way, but Phil wasn’t having it.

“I thought it would have been nice and we’ve got the memory, but Phil drew the line so that was that.

“Phil’s quite a private person, while I’m an over-sharer.”

Tanya is mum to daughter Gabrielle, 14, from a previous relationship and has sons Rocco, seven, Renz, two, and now new-born Ralphi with her footballing hubby.
