Trump gave Joan idea for Alexis

DYNASTY legend Dame Joan Collins has admitted she used DONALD TRUMP as inspiration for her on-screen persona.

The 83-year-old actress said the Yank Presidential candidate was her muse for her scheming character Alexis Colby in the U.S. series.

Joan ( above) said she used Trump’s business prowess as a basis for her character after she was introduced to the billionaire and his first wife Ivana.

She said: “I based Alexis on a businessman like Donald Trump. She was tough and uncompromising, using her sexuality to manipulate people.

“I met Donald with Ivana, and he was a very good-looking guy.

“I used Donald more in what he did, how he worked and how he was building his empire, than his sexuality.

“I didn’t know about that a lot, but I know that he liked beautiful women, blondes.

“Alexis was a mixture of him and one of my best girlfriends.”
