Woman spared jail for sex with lad, 13

A WOMAN who plied a vulnerable 13-year-old boy with cider and had sex with him three times in an attempt to get pregnant, has been spared jail.

Hannah Cox, 29, told police her abusive partner told her to sleep with the lad, who had learning difficulties and ADHD.

Cox, who also had learning difficulties and an IQ of 70, was in an abusive relationship when she committed the offences at her home between October and November 2013.

She later admitted what she’d done to a friend, and news filtered back to the boy’s mum, who told the police.

Cox, of Wellington, Somerset, was sentenced at Taunton Crown Court to two years in prison, suspended for two years, and must sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for 10 years.
