LEONA: I’M STILL HAVING A KARD TIME AFTER ASSAULT

-

SINGER Leona Lewis has offered her support to Kim Kardashian after the star was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, adding she was still dealing with the trauma caused when attacked while meeting fans six years ago.

The Bleeding Love babe ( left) was punched in the head by a man as she signed copies of her autobiography in central London in 2009.

Leona posted on Twitter sympathising with Kim after the robbery at an exclusive private apartment building.

She wrote: “Years later I’m still personally dealing with trauma after being attacked. We should be sending love to @KimKardashian it’s an awful ordeal.”

Leona was left bruised and “shaken” when a man whose book she had autographed suddenly punched her in the side of the head.

A source close to Kim told E! News, whose network broadcasts Keeping Up With The Kardashians, that the star had feared for her life.

“She begged for them to let her live and (said) she has babies at home ... She thought they were for sure going to kill her.”

Police in the French capital have described the incident as “extremely rare” and said the robbers were focused on “possessions that had been seen via social media”.

Kim, who was attending Paris Fashion Week, was “badly shaken but physically unharmed’’ after masked men dressed as cops robbed her, her spokeswoman said.

Meanwhile, the National Rife Association – which is pro-gun rights in the U.S. – tweeted: “Shocking these criminals did not subject themselves to Paris’s strict #guncontrol laws before committing this awful crime.”
