-

hunk Spencer Matthews could have his reality TV career halted – by the ROYAL FAMILY.

Ladies’ man Spencer may have to change his ways after his older brother James popped the question to the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister Pippa Middleton earlier this year.

And sources have revealed that the 27-year-old reality star could now be stopped from returning to the E4 show that made him famous due to his family’s new royal connections.

Spencer’s former flame, and MIC co-star, Stephanie Pratt dropped the first hint and admitted she understands why he might not be able to appear in the next series of the posh show.

Steph said: “I feel like he can’t because he can’t be in the public eye right now. His family are under immense scrutiny.”

Industry insiders have also revealed that Spencer’s new in-laws could scupper his chances of having another crack at ITV series I’m A Celebrity… Get Me out of Here!

Spencer went Down Under last year but he was booted off the show after just a few days when producers found out he had been taking steroids.

And it seems like his chances of returning to the show could be out of his hands as telly execs hinted that his options are ‘restricted’ in terms of appearing on TV.

An ITV source said: “The show’s producers have been keen to get Spencer back on I’m A Celebrity... ever since the scandal last year. ROYALLY STUFFED: Spencer and ( Pippa with James

“They know he has a big following and think that he will attract high viewing figures if he is given a second chance and allowed to redeem himself.”

Hedge-fund manager James, 41, and Pippa, 33, announced their engagement in July after rekindling their romance last year.
