SEX FORUM Sex in cars… we Brits are still hard at it!

-

STUDENTS are still getting jiggy in the backseat of their CARS, according to new research.

A recent study found that steaming up the windows of a motor is still seen as a rite of passage among teenagers, with a whopping 60 per cent of people confessing they’d done it.

And 14 per cent of those asked even admitted that they lost their virginity with a cramped bonk in a parked car.

Psychologists quizzed more than 700 students about in-car coitus for the Journal of Sex Research.

The study – which is titled Sexual Behaviour in Parked Cars – confirmed that car sex is still very much a “fundamental coming-ofage phenomenon’.

One, Dr Struckman-Johnson, said: “Sex and cars have gone together since the car was invented.”

The majority of those surveyed admitted to romping on the back seat, with most trying it for the first time at the age of 17 and going on to do it four more times.

Men seemed to view parked-car shagging more favourably than women, however the majority of respondents confessed they found it an “enjoyable sexual experience”.

A whopping 86 per cent of blokes said they reached climax during their most recent car quickie, compared to just 40 per cent of women.

The authors, at the University of South Dakota, said: “The universal value of the car is that, for more than a century, it has offered a semi-private, movable, secure and available place for two people to have sex. We see this continuing in the future of dating, even as courtship trends change.”

We asked Sport babe Katy Keller, from Derby, about her experiences of doing the deed in a parked car.

The 24-year-old scorcher said: “Seriously, who hasn’t had sex in a car? When I was 18 my boyfriend at the time had his own car and he used to pick me up to go for a drive.

“Of course we never spent the night driving around, we just found somewhere quiet and secluded and went at it on the back seat.

“It’s been years since I last did it in a car though. It’s something most people get out of their system while they’re young!”
