Greening slams choice

EDUCATION Secretary Justine Greening has said she is “extremely disappointed” with the Government’s decision to build a third runway at Heathrow Airport.

Ms Greening, whose constituency lies under the flight path, said in a statement she would continue to represent the views of her constituents on the issue.

Taking advantage of Theresa May’s limited dispensation allowing ministers to oppose the plan she said in the statement: “My views against expanding Heathrow are long-held and well-known.”
