The Take That star, 45, will make a guest appearance at a charity concert next month in support of Hidden Wounds, a division of armed forces charity Help For Heroes.

Barlow ( right) will be joined at the gig in the Vulcan hangar at Doncaster Sheffield Airport by record producer and songwriter Eliot Kennedy, who has worked with acts including the Spice Girls and The Wanted.

The concert will also launch the debut album of Joanne Heselden-Edwards, whose father invented the Bastion barrier system that has saved thousands of soldiers’ lives.

Gary said: “I’m delighted to be part of a fantastic night for an amazing cause.”

The Hidden Wounds Charity Concert will take place on November 12.
