I’m glad the lying sheikh has got banged up

I WAS so pleased to hear that Mazher Mahmood would finally be spending time behind bars last week after he was found guilty of tampering with evidence in Tulisa’s collapsed drugs trial.

Now that he is where he belongs, I feel like I can JAILED: Fake Sheikh Mahmood breathe a sigh of relief and reveal that I am one of the 45 people bringing civil claims against the ‘Fake Sheikh’.

I won’t go into detail about it right now, although I’m sure many of you will be able to remember the story about me and my sister Alyson which was splashed across the front of the News of the World back in 1997.

All I will say for now is that I am glad he is finally getting his comeuppance as Mahmood left Aly and I feeling suicidal for years after what he put us through.

Hopefully now that he has been exposed as a liar who would do anything to get a story, other innocent people who suffered at his hands can get some justice.
