The for­mer UKIP leader’s name has been linked with a big-money of­fer to take part in the hit re­al­ity show in re­cent days as the line-up for the loom­ing sea­son be­gins to emerge.

Asked about spec­u­la­tion that he has the chance to be a star per­former in the Ant and Dec-fronted se­ries, Mr Farage said: “No. I’m not go­ing into any­thing.

“It’s a very suc­cess­ful show. But I’m ac­tu­ally quite busy at the mo­ment.”

Me­dia spec­u­la­tion claims Mr Farage has been of­fered be­tween £250,000 and £750,000 to ap­pear in the ITV show, which is filmed in the wilds of Aus­tralia.

It has long been famed for mak­ing con­tes­tants eat grue­some “bush tucker”.
