Pentonville lag charged with escape
A MAN has been charged with escaping from prison following the breakout of two inmates from HMP Pentonville.
James Anthony Whitlock ( top), 31, was arrested in Homerton, east London, on Sunday and is due to appear before Highbury Corner Magistrates.
Two men, aged 48 and 19, who were also nicked on suspicion of assisting an offender have been bailed till December.
Kelly Baker, 21, of Ilford, east London, has been similarly charged and appeared before Highbury Corner JPs on Friday, where she was bailed to be at Blackfriars Crown Court on December 9.
Matthew Baker, 28, who also escaped was arrested at an address in Ilford on November 9.
He was taken to a north London police station, but was later to hospital for treatment to a leg injury.
Scotland Yard launched a manhunt for two lags after their escape was discovered shortly before midday on November 7. MISSING killer Lord Lucan was once asked to audition for the role of James Bond.
