Cops had to call for back-up Posh mag Tatler was there Undergrads taking cocaine

-

DURHAM University’s Summer Ball descended into dirty debauchery and drug-fuelled dogging as students revelled one of Britain’s wildest parties.

Police were twice called to the event, held at Hardwick Hall near Sedgefield, Co Durham, after receiving reports of rowdy behaviour.

When officers arrived, they spotted students skinny-dipping in the hall’s lake, couples at shag all across the property and undergraduates sniffing lines of cocaine.

People were also swigging champagne from the bottle, and cops were vomited on by pissed partygoers.

Hosted by prestigious Durham University’s Champagne Society, posh magazine Tatler attended the extravagant do and observed: “Students rocked up to Hardwick Hall to chat, dance and most importantly drink rivers of fizz.”

Around 1,300 people went to the event, which cost £100 a ticket and was described on the group’s Facebook page as the “largest, craziest and most extravagant ball to date.”

Attendees were given two bottles of champers with their meal as well as welcome drinks on arrival.

Guests also took advantage of the funfair at the event and many entered a raffle, the winner bagging a 27 LITRE bottle of Champagne Drappier Brut Primat – the second largest bottle in the entire world.

However, we can EXCLUSIVELY reveal exactly what happened inside the filthy party, as student Harriett Taylor-Wilde revealed exactly what she saw on the night of June 5.

Harriett said: “I’m now in my third year studying psychology at Durham Uni, and I think I learnt everything I needed to about people at that ball – it was crazy.

“I was a second-year student and all my housemates were banging on about this famous ball, so we all decided to save up and buy tickets.

“I was going to go home early as I’d finished for the year but I was dying to get to the ball – everyone on campus was talking about it and it seemed the whole of uni was going!

“When we arrived, I was given two bottles of fizz and quickly downed them before hitting the dancefloor.

“The event was full of gorgeous people and everywhere I looked there were couples snogging and groping or snorting coke.

“I remember looking across the room and there were two blokes fingering this third-year girl against the wall. She had her dress down so her boobs were out and her skirt hoisted up so it was easier for them.

“I walked into the next room and it was even dirtier! My mate, Anna, was kissing a bloke and her hands were all over his dick.

“Next thing, she moves herself down his body, unzips him and starts sucking his cock in front of a crowd. Then one girl, a pal of Anna’s, knelt down under her and began licking her pussy as Anna was busy gobbling up her man’s willy.

“It was pure carnage the entire night, I’ve never seen anything as filthy as that and I watch porn!”

Another partygoer Midweek Sport spoke to wished to remain anonymous but did say the party “was like a mating ground for the wealthy”.

Durham Student’s Union probed the event and agreed to place the champagne society on probation and work with them to develop an action plan for the year ahead.

Hardwick Hall took £45,000 behind the bar that night and two students were rushed to hospital with alcohol problems.

In response to the union’s report and eyewitness accounts, the Society have responded.

They said: “Due to the scale of the event amongst other factors, we do recognise that there were problems at the ball.

“We are fully committed to working in close alliance with both the police and the DSU in order to create events which are fundamentally safe.”
