-

A TEEN has been jailed for stabbing a 17-year-old to death at a 16th birthday party plugged on Instagram.

College student Che Labastide-Wellington, from Kensal Green, west London, was knifed in the heart at the bash in Kenton, north-west London.

One of his friends, 16, who cannot be named because of his age, was also stabbed multiple times.

The pair were said to have been attacked by a group of 17 youths, several armed with knives, in a feud between neighbouring estates in north-west London, a court heard.

Seven defendants were accused of being part of the group and went on trial at the Old Bailey for murder and wounding.

Walker Sesay, 19, of Wembley, north-west London, who had a previous conviction for carrying a blade and undertook a knife awareness course, was cleared of murder but found guilty of manslaughter.

Sentencing him to 13 years, Judge Stephen Kramer QC said Sesay came from a “good family” and was an “intelligent young man who had aspirations to go to university”.

But what he did had deprived a family of a “much loved” son, grandson and brother.

Rimmel Williams, 19, and Calvin Tudor, 22, both of Willesden, north-west London, were convicted of wounding with intent alongside Marlon Tudor, 23, of Neasden, north-west London, and each jailed for nine years.

Omar Afrah, 22, and Olamilekan Onafowokan, 23, both of Wembley, who were found guilty of conspiracy to commit violent disorder, were sentenced to two years’ imprisonment.
