WOMAN PAEDO’S SEX WITH GIRL, 15

A WOMAN who had sex with a 15-year-old girl she had plied with legal highs and booze before fleeing to Spain has been jailed.

Leila Kassam, 32, along with her boyfriend befriended the girl and took her back to a flat.

The teenager was given the legal highs and alcohol before she was sexually abused by the pair.

Kassam pleaded guilty to child sexual exploitation offences in March but before her sentencing skipped bail, fleeing to Ibiza where she found work as a farmhand over the summer.

But the Spanish farm owner saw Crimewatch and Crimestoppers appeals for Kassam’s return online and contacted police.

An European Arrest Warrant was issued and Kassam was flown back to the UK on Friday to face justice.

She was handed a four-year sentence in her absence at Blackfriars Crown Court on June 27 and yesterday was given an additional six weeks THERE’s more than one reason to tune into U.S. telly series Quarry – in fact, there’s TWO.

She had been sentenced to three years for having unlawful sex with the 15-year-old.

Her former boyfriend, Paul Michael Silverthorn, 36 , is still on the run, wanted for two counts of unlawful sex with the same 15-year-old victim, giving a substance to a second victim, aged 16, and for possessing prohibited images of a child.

Having appeared in court in March where he pleaded guilty to all but one offence.
