Pals worry as couple ‘drift apart’

FANS fear celebrity couple Cheryl and Liam Payne are about to SPLIT as shocking new rumours circle the pair.

The 33-year-old pop star is believed to be heading for another failed relationship after rumours of arguments with her 23-year-old toyboy and One Direction band member.

The couple are expecting their first child together, but sources close to them reckon the age-gap pair are on course for a messy break-up.

Cheryl, who has seen two marriages go down the pan, spends nearly all her time in the UK and Liam has been spending months in LA to record his new music and party with his pals.

However, his youthful lifestyle and apparent reluctance to embrace family life has reportedly caused huge tensions between them.

A source close to the couple said: “It hasn’t been easy for Cheryl. Liam’s been away a lot and she often feels like she’s done this pregnancy alone with the support of her family.

“In an ideal world, like anyone else, she’d have had him by her side constantly.

“Very often, phone calls have ended in one just cutting the other off.

“Liam wants to live in LA for his career. He loves the lifestyle and being around all his mates, but Cheryl isn’t keen.

“They want different things and they often find themselves at TENSION: Cheryl and Liam loggerheads. Daily phone calls can become heated and often turn into a row with them arguing over what they want.”
