Boris hails ‘Bre-entry’ into world

BORIS Johnson has hailed Britain’s “Bre-entry into the world” as he expressed confidence in the UK’s future outside the EU.

The Foreign Secretary ( above) insisted the vote to leave the EU would allow Britain more opportunities on the world stage, as he outlined plans for the Government’s Global Britain programme to promote Brit interests outside of Europe.

Mr Johnson said: “Global Britain is a programme to explain to the world but also the people of this country the full range of Britain’s military, cultural, commercial, diplomatic influence in the world.

“I do think that it is important to do that, now particularly as we make Brexit – or Bre-entry into the world, as we should perhaps call it – to help people to understand that a more global Britain will be a more prosperous Britain.”

Labour’s Barry Sheerman described the idea as a “nasty little hard Brexit campaigning group”.
