The Irish hunk’s wife, Mansfield Park actress Amelia Warner, is said to have refused to watch Jamie’s performance as BDSM fiend Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movies.

Jamie said he’d be happy for the mother of his two children to watch the steamy sex flick, but added that she has no desire to see either of them. The 34-year-old said: “It’s totally her choice again, but I don’t imagine she’ll want to see it.

“I’m not going to tell her what she can and can’ do. I’m very un-Christian Grey in that way.”

After the release of the first in the trilogy series in 2015 Jamie admitted that he understood why his Liverpoolborn wife might not want to watch him romp on screen.

At the time he said: “She doesn’t want to watch this. I am not going to GREY AREA: Jamie with wife Almelia put any pressure on her either way. It’s her decision. She’s well aware that it’s pretend, but it’s probably not that comfortable to watch.”

Amelia has a few steamy on-screen clinches under her belt too, with roles in the likes of Stoned, in 2005, and Gone in 2007.
