MUM AND SON’S INCEST PLEDGE

A MOTHER and son who pleaded guilty to INCEST insist they’ll stay together despite a court order banning them from seeing each other.

Monica Mares, 37, gave her son Caleb Peterson, 20, up for adoption at birth but claims they “fell in love” when they met for the first time, when Caleb turned 18.

They were arrested in February 2016 after a neighbour alerted cops.

After their guilty plea they were instructed by the KEEPING IT IN THE FAMILY: Monica and Caleb court to stay away from each other for 18 months.

But mum-of-nine, Mares, has said she would give up the right to see her other children if she had to choose between them and her bonks with her boy.

The couple started their relationship in 2015 when they got in touch via Facebook and arranged to meet at his adoptive father’s house.

They had sex a few weeks later and went to live in her mobile home.

Mares said: “I told him, ‘I’m sorry I don’t know how you are going to react to this. I’m your mom and you’re my son’.”

Although incest in illegal in all 50 states in America, the punishments vary and the couple are looking to move from Clovis, New Mexico, to avoid trouble.
