Boy, 15, denies murdering lad

A 15-YEAR-OLD boy accused of stabbing a pupil to death outside a school in north-west London has denied murder.

The suspect, who cannot be identified because of his age, allegedly knifed Quamari Serunkuma-Barnes, also 15, in the chest near the gates of the Capital City Academy in Willesden.

Quamari, who was a student at the school, was attacked at around 3.30pm on January 23. He was pronounced dead after being taken to hospital.

The suspect appeared at the Old Bailey for a short plea and trial preparatio­n hearing.

He stood in the dock to plead not guilty to the single charge of murder.

Judge John Bevan QC confirmed the trial will start at the Old Bailey on May 30. The suspect was remanded in custody.
