Madge’s life movie script snapped up

QUEEN of pop Madonna is set to have a film made about her life – as the script has been snapped up by Hollywood.

Titled the screenplay has been picked up by Universal and is set to cover the pop icon’s rise to fame.

The script about the 58-year-old singer was hot property in an online collection of screenplays called the BlackList, which previously included and scripts.

will tell the tale of Madonna’s early career in the late 1970s and follows her move to New York to become a star, and the success of her solo career in the 1980s and 90s.

The title refers to the name of Madonna’s international tour in 1990.
