Chef murder rap after ‘too spicy’ stew bust-up
A CHEF has been charged with murder after a row over how SPICY to make a fish stew got out of hand.
Orlando Thompson was working at a restaurant in Florida when his co-worker Caleb Halley criticised his gumbo, saying it was too hot.
The pair started to argue about how the Southern American dish should be cooked authentically.
Thompson, 33, lost his temper and the pair started fighting in the kitchen of the restaurant where they worked.
Halley was attacked with a knife and slashed across the chest, leaving his internal organs exposed.
The 27-year-old died two days later.
