ICAN’T imagine the pain that Rhys Jones’s parents felt as they relived their 11-year-old son’s brutal killing for the ITV drama

It’s so brave of them to be part of the production and make sure that their lad’s story is told right and kept true to life.

Nothing could ever prepare you for such a tragic loss – Rhys was just an innocent little lad on his way back from footie training.

As a mum myself, I can’t think of anything worse than being given that news.

The first episode of the four-part drama really tugged at my heart strings on Monday night.

I think the cast did a great job – especially Sinead Keenan who plays Rhys’s mum Mel.

I for one will definitely be tuning in to watch the rest of the series.
