POP babe Katy Perry has become the first person EVER to reach 100 MILLION followers on Twitter.
The Bon Appetit singer made history last week when she hit the milestone and became the most followed person on the planet.
Katy, 32, celebrated her achievement by posting: “Thank you, @Twitter, for always giving me an opportunity to have a voice!”
The social media platform congratulated the American pop star, and said: “Today we #WITNESS history. Congratulations @ katyperry, the first to reach 100 million followers! #LoveKaty.”
Hot on Katy’s heels is Canadian chart-topper Justin Bieber who boasts 97million followers, while the former U.S. President, Barack Obama, has more than 90million.
Katy trounced her arch-nemesis Taylor Swift, who has 15million fewer followers, while President Donald Trump can only manage a third of Katy’s following.
The busty babe released her fifth studio album, Witness, earlier this month, which debuted at number five in the UK album chart.
