Broadchurch is setting for crime surge

-

CRIME is on the rise in the real-life setting of ITV’s hit drama Broadchurch – and has been ever since the film crew turned up.

The Jurassic Coast resorts of West Bay and Bridport were used throughout the filming of the gritty show, which starred Olivia Colman and David Tennant ( above) – but crime has sharply increased in the picture-postcard towns.

Broadchurch began in 2013 and since then Dorset Police’s statistics show that crimes in the real settings have risen by 22 per cent.

Despite the show’s first season featuring a murder plot of teenager Danny Latimer, there have been no murders – but violent crime has increased, leaping 72 per cent in the past three years, with 455 offences occurring last year alone.

The ITV hit focused on a rape case in its final series, aired earlier this year, reflecting a doubling of sexual offences in the coastal areas. COWS only have bottom teeth CRACK SHOT: Alfie gets rear-ly accurate YOU can’t blame

star Alfie Allen for wanting to get a better view of scorching girlfriend Allie Teilz’s rear end.

The 30-year-old brother of Lily Allen enjoyed a sizzling beach day with his DJ girlfriend, 23, as the pair soaked up the sun in Formentera, Spain.

Blonde babe Allie was pictured with cigarette in hand as she showed off her jaw-dropping figure in a red, white and blue two-piece.

But it wasn’t long before she was ditching her top and baring her boobs to avoid tan lines.

Alfie, who plays Theon Greyjoy in the hit fantasy series, could be seen taking candid snaps of his other half – and he even bent down to get a closer view as he took a shot of his girlfriend’s perky arse!

The loved-up couple soaked up the sun from a private yacht before jumping into rubber rings and taking a dip in the Mediterranean Sea.

Allie and Alfie haven’t been dating long and the actor was previously linked to Mr Selfridge actress Sai Bennett in 2016.

He was also in an on-off relationship with Babs actress Jaime Winstone for more than seven years.
