Strictly Gemma: I’ll be back on Emmerdale!

SOAP babe Gemma Atkinson might be shimmying across the dancefloor but she’s still set for an EXPLOSIVE return to

The 32-year-old actress is one of the contestants on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing but she’s vowed to return to the Dales once she’s hung up her dancing shoes.

Although Gemma said there’s no date set in stone for her return to the ITV show, she’s promised she’ll be back as Carly Hope before too long.

Gemma said: “Carly Hope will go back at some point. But I might want a holiday at the end of Strictly.

“I am a hundred per cent sure Carly will return. It’s just a case of figuring out when and why and who she can WALZING BACK: Gemma can’t wait to get back to the Dales mess up when she comes back.

“It’s the end at the moment, but not forever. I never say never. Carly will go off and do some living, but she will come back and make amends.”

Gemma left her role on Emmerdale earlier this year after juggling her job in the Dales with her Breakfast Show on Manchester’s Key 103 radio station.

She joined the soap in 2015 and was involved in an emotional cot death storyline as well as a romance with Marlon Dingle.

Hollyoaks and Casualty have also been blessed with gorgeous Gemma’s presence but it’s Emmerdale which she plans to return to.

Gemma was paired up with pro dancer Aljaž Škorjanec on Saturday night’s opening show.
