MANCHESTER United have been told to BAN a terrace chant about star striker, Romelu Lukaku, and his PENIS – because it’s deemed to be RACIST.

Anti- discrimination group Kick It Out have contacted the football club asking them to stop their fans singing the song about the striker.

The group said the lyrics – about the 24-year-old cock – are ‘ offensive and discriminatory’.

They wrote to the Premier League club after a video emerged online of fans chanting the song at their Champions League match against Basel last week.

It is also reported to have been sung at their 4-0 clash with Everton at the weekend.

Club officials are waiting to learn whether the chant about the Belgian striker is regarded as racist for criminal purposes and said they have a ‘zero-tolerance attitude’ to racism.

A spokesma for Kick It Out said: “We contacted Manchester United over the issue and will be working closely with them and the Football Association to ensure it is addressed.

Punishment

“If we receive any reports relating to the discriminatory chant, those will be passed on to the governing body and the perpetrators can expect to face punishment.”

United fan and writer of The Republik of Mancunia blog Scott Patterson isn’t happy with the chant about Lukaku’s willy. He said: “Here we have a hugely talented striker, currently top scorer in the league. Yet he is reduced to celebrating the size of his dick.

“It’s a cheap and insulting stereotype that has no place in this day and age.”

Prof Clifford Stott, from Keele University, said: “I think a lot of fans who sang it had no racist intent and don’t see it as racist – they see it as funny.”

Lukaku joined United for an initial £75m from Everton during the summer in a deal that could rise to £90m.

‘Romelu Lukaku, He’s our Belgian scoring genius, He’s got a 24-inch penis, Scoring all the goals, Bellend to his toes.’
