A MAN filmed himself having sex with two schoolgirls, then stored it on his computer in a file called “personal filth”.

Benjamin Woodmansey, 31, knew the girls were under age – one visited him in her school uniform – but said he “wasn’t confident enough” to have a girlfriend his own age.

A judge told him that was “no excuse” and jailed him for six years.

Woodmansey, who was in his 20s at the time of the abuse, met one of his victims in Pearson Park, west Hull, when she felt “suicidal” and had vomited through drinking, Hull Crown Court heard.

He “comforted” her, invited her back to his then flat in west Hull and, after giving her a “massage”, asked if she wanted to “fool around”.

Prosecutor Charlotte Baines said the girl was “still under the influence of alcohol” and agreed.

On an earlier occasion, when Woodmansey had been drinking, he lay on top of the girl on a grassed area and touched her.

She told him: “Get off me, stop touching me up, you’re being really crude.”

After the massage incident, she would regularly have sex with Woodmansey, who was also in a sexual relationship with another schoolgirl.

Miss Baines said one of the girls said it was “like being in a love triangle” and she didn’t like it.

Woodmansey “made” one girl watch pornography, which she believed showed underage girls.

He was “insistent” on taking photographs of her during sex.

He also bought her takeaways and her “favourite chocolate”.

Miss Baines said the girl “told the defendant throughout that time that what they were doing was illegal, as he knew full well she was under age.

She said she was not his girlfriend, despite his attempts to persuade her to be”.

She began to suffer with her mental health and had anxiety and panic attacks.

Woodmansey took photos and films of both girls, some of which were Category A, the most serious.

Miss Baines said: “Both girls were well aware that this was happening.

“One certainly seemed to be OK with it. The other had some issues with it.”

A victim statement from one of the girls said the abuse had left her with “major trust issues” and she now feels anxious whenever she sees someone “looking remotely similar” to Woodmansey. JAILED: Benjamin Woodmansey

Miss Baines said: “At the time of meeting the defendant, she was young and felt vulnerable. She felt he was a friend offering support, but now she sees the reality that he was grooming her.”

Woodmansey, of Paull, the East Riding of Yorkshire, admitted five counts of sexual activity with a child, and four of making indecent photographs of a child.
