‘FAKE DEATH’ HUBBY SENDS WIFE TO JAIL

A MAN staged his own murder – complete with a fake bullet hole in his head – after discovering his wife had hired a hitman to kill him.

Boxing coach Ramon Sosa ( left) posed as a blood-stained corpse to help police catch his wife Maria “Lulu” Sosa.

She hired the killer to carry out the murder for just £1,500 – then laughed when she saw a photo of her “dead” husband.

In the shocking image, blood is seen streaming down the shirtless man’s chest from a fake bullet hole in his right temple.

But the 50-year-old was in fact alive and well.

His wife was busted when she unknowingly tried to hire one of Ramon’s former boxing students to carry out the hit.

With the support of the FBI, Texas Rangers painted bloody makeup on Ramon, so it looked as though he had been shot through the temple.

Then they drove him to the desert and put him in a shallow grave they had already dug.

Taking photographs of the morbid scene – released under Open Request – they hid Ramon in a hotel for three days.

Then a “hitman” – who was actually an undercover cop – showed Lulu the pictures.

The couple, from Houston, Texas, were together for eight years until money worries put strain on their relationship in 2015.

In October last year, Lulu, 43, pleaded guilty to solicitation of murder and was jailed for 20 years.
