Horror as he sleeps
A WOMAN lopped off her husband’s penis with a pair of pruning shears in a rage as he slept.
Blonde Brenda Barattini, 26, was arrested and is accused of using the garden tool in the horrifying incident.
The motive for the attack is yet to be discovered.
Cops arrested her while her 40-year-old hubby was rushed to hospital in Cordoba, Argentina.
He was believed to be sleeping peacefully when his wife launched her attack.
Neighbours called emergency services when they heard the man’s screams. Police and ambulance crews arrived at the scene shortly after and the unnamed man was taken to hospital, where he is said to be in a “stable condition”.
No information has been released as to whether the man’s penis has been reattached. Barattini remains in custody.
The incident is similar to the 1993 case of Lorena Bobbitt who, after several years of abuse and after being allegedly raped by her spouse, pounced on her then husband John Bobbitt and cut off his penis while he slept.
She then fled the scene still holding his cock and threw it into a field before turning herself in to police. John Bobbitt, whose penis was found and reattached, took advantage of the fame the case brought and for a short time dedicated himself to starring in porn movies.
