SOAP star Faye Brooks says she LOVES her role as a LESBIAN on

Faye, 30, is currently playing Kate Connor on the cobbles and her character onscreen is embroiled in a lusty lesbian affair with Rana, played by Bhavna Limbachia, 33.

However, Faye loves her saucy scenes in the ITV soap and says she really can’t get enough of her girl-ongirl scenes.

Fans are also delighted by the lesbian scenes and have dubbed the couple ‘Kana’ on social media.

Faye said: “We talk about it every day – we’ve got a WhatsApp group about them all, but we are loving that we’re ‘Kana’.

“How amazing to be making history and doing what I love. This is the best job ever!”

Her character finally got steamy with Rana in one of Corrie’s hottest ever scenes as the girls got to grips with each other in the back of a food van.

The raunchy episode featured both girls spread-eagled, half naked and snogging the faces off each other.

And Faye loved every minute of the scene. She said: “I’m totally on board with everything. I’m like ‘Yep!’ I do feel like we’re making history there.

“It was probably the raciest scene I’ve ever seen in Corrie, and I like that they’re pushing that. I’m so proud to be a part of it. I’m so excited I could burst.”

Although she plays a lesbian on the streets of Weatherfield, in real life Faye is happily loved-up with former pop star Gareth Gates, 33.
