ROCKET Ronnie O’Sullivan’s secret of success has been revealed – FISH.

The snooker star celebrated his latest triumph by feasting on fish at his favourite restaurant where he dined every day during the tournament.

The 42-year-old five-time world champion won Sunday’s Players’ Championship final at Venue Cymru, Llandudno – and was soon back at the town’s Seahorse Seafood Bistro.

Owners Don and Gill Hadwin said O’Sullivan ate there every day throughout last week’s tournament, having been a regular visitor during his previous visits to the area.

Don, who has run the restaurant since 2004, said: “Ronnie has become a personal friend of ours. He’s come in every time he’s been here.

“Last week I’d cook him lunch at our house and then he had dinner at the restaurant. Ronnie’s on a health kick at the moment so he ate a lot of fish and salads.

“He also came with us when we went out for a walk with the dogs on the West Shore and he enjoyed going for a run around the Great Orme in the mornings.

“He just seems to really love the area because it’s peaceful and he says he’s going to come back in the summer with his wife and kids.”

Don described Ronnie, who stayed at the nearby Imperial Hotel, as “quite a private person”, adding: “Sometimes he didn’t like it when people took photographs of him in the restaurant, but if they asked he was fine.”
