NICKED: Joshua Clemons bedded teen from church ( A VICAR had a sexual relationship with a high school student, finally giving the teenager a card on her 18th birthday that said: “We’re legal.”

Joshua Clemons, 35, has now been arrested for sexual assault on a child by a person in position of trust and is awaiting trial.

Clemons is believed to have sexually assaulted three victims between 2008 and 2017, all members of the same youth organisation.

Police records claimed that married Clemons had an affair with the teen victim “that included sexual intercourse” when she was still 17.

On her 18th birthday he gave her a card that said “we’re legal”, say court documents.

Clemons and the woman continued their relationship after she graduated from Cross Roads Community Church in Parker, Colorado, and enrolled at the state university.

The victim eventually told authorities that Clemons continued to visit her every day so that they could carry on having sex.

On one occasion Clemons even went to a chemist to buy the morning-after pill for his young victim and forced her to take it.

The relationship ended last year but the woman claims that he began stalking her and showing up at her new church, and she’d had to threaten him with a restraining order.

At a retreat for her new church in October, the woman shared details about the relationship for the first time.

A person listening alerted police out of fear he was still involved with underage girls.
