GEMMA: THE DAY I WET MYSELF!
TOWIE star Gemma Collins has confessed she PISSED herself while presenting an award at Radio 1’s Teen Choice Awards.
The blonde bombshell famously fell down a hole in the stage during the glitzy awards bash. However, her tumble wasn’t the only thing that left Gemma, 37, red-faced as she wet herself on the stage. Following her dramatic fall her boyfriend and co-star James ‘Arg’ Argent, 30, came to her rescue but she was more bothered about him noticing her damp patch. Talking about the now famous incident, Gemma said: “That hole changed my life. It catapulted me into a meme star. “The worst thing about it was that I wet myself as it was such a shock.
“James came running down from the audience to make sure I was OK, and all I could think was, ‘I hope he can’t tell I’ve wet myself’.”
Last October, the outspoken reality star took to the Teen Choice Awards stage to announce the winner of the Best TV show.
As she opened the envelope to announce Love Island as the winners, she spun round, misjudged her footing and fell over a hole in the middle of the stage.
Gemma denied she considered taking legal action against the BBC unless they offered her a place on Strictly Come Dancing. She ended up in the Celebrity Masterchef kitchen.
Gemma said: “I can’t say anything. I read that the BBC offered it to me because I fell down the hole, but that was a load of rubbish.”
