ROO FEARS STRICTLY CURSE

FOOTBALLER Wayne Rooney is said to be terrified of wife Coleen appearing on

– because of the infamous ‘curse’.

Coleen, 32, is rumoured to be taking part in the next series of the BBC dance show.

But hubby Wayne, 32, is afraid the Strictly curse could end his marriage.

Mum-of-four Coleen was due to take part in the last series but was replaced by Holby City actress Chizzy Akudolu, 44.

A insider told us: “Coleen deferred her place last year after falling pregnant.

“But she has the option of taking it up this year – and talks have already begun to make that happen.

“This would be one of Strictly’s biggest signings ever. And it would be an absolute ratings sensation.

“Producers know that they will need to pull out all the stops to land Coleen, but they have been told she is interested.”

But Everton star Wayne is said to be unhappy about the prospect of Coleen getting up close and personal with one of Strictly’s hunky pro dancers.

He’s aware that Jamie and Louise Redknapp’s 19-year marriage ended after she took part in the show and Wayne’s wary of their problems rising to the surface once again.

The source added: “Wayne’s concerned about Strictly for a lot of reasons. He’s also very aware what happened with Louise and Jamie. OPTION: Coleen
