Jessie J takes away prize in Chinese show

POP star Jessie J has just won a Chinese talent contest after her recent UK flops.

Former chart-topper Jessie ( above), 30, has failed to break the Top 10 since 2014, so she decided to enter Chinese show Singer a contestant.

Instead of having a judging spot, like she has previously held on The Voice UK, Jessie was wheeled out week after week to belt out tunes to an approving Chinese audience.

In the first week she sang her hit single Domino, which topped the UK chart in 2011, and over the weeks sang her other hits, including Flashlight and Bang Bang.

Now Jessie has taken to Instagram to boast about winning after her cover of the Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You secured her the title of Singer 2018 winner.

And it seems Sinitta is more than happy to date the Britain’s Got Talent judge, describing him as “just my type”.

When asked about Simon’s bid to pair David up with her, Sinitta, 54, seemed ready for cupid Cowell to strike.
