Nut shoots women drivers
SEX workers’ rights activists are calling for legal DRIVE-IN SEX BOOTHS to be established in Britain.
The move follows an experiment in Switzerland which saw the government pay to create the legal booths in a bid to protect sex workers.
And they have been deemed a huge success since they were established in Zurich five years ago.
The booths, which look like garages, celebrate their fifth anniversary on Sunday after 52 per cent of Zurich citizens voted in favour of them.
Now sex worker advocate Paula Hunter is calling for the booths to be brought to Britain. over traffic and noise.
The legal areas help in preventing human trafficking and violent attacks against sex workers, most of whom are eastern European.
The government spends £623,000 each year maintaining the booths, which includes security and on-site social services.
The sex workers pay taxes and have regular health checks.
Like many drive-ins, motorbikes and bicylces are allowed, but those on foot aren’t and go to another part of the city.
Once the customers arrive, one of the 24 women working agree a price and go to a booth, which is not monitored but has an emergency alarm for safety. A MAN fired shots at women drivers because he doesn’t believe they should be allowed behind the wheel, say police.
Nicholas D’Agostino, 29, is linked to at least three road rage shootings.
He has appeared in court on charges of shooting two women in their cars in two separate instances. In one case in March, a woman driver heard a loud noise while driving out of a petrol station car park. After feeling a pain in her right arm she realised she had been shot.
D’Agostino ( – who cops say has a “dim view” of women – faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with that case.
He has already spent six weeks in jail for a July attack on a 39-year-old woman.
