JOY AS MADE IN CHELSEA SPENCER BECOMES UNCLE
MADE in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews has become an uncle, it has been revealed.
The 29-year-old socialite and his model wife Vogue Williams are said to be “thrilled” by the news.
Spencer, a former contestant on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, became an uncle when his brother’s wife Pippa gave birth yesterday.
Pippa Middleton, who is also the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister, produced a baby boy in London, the Press Association reported.
A family spokeswoman said: “James and Pippa have had a baby boy.
“He was born Monday 15th October at 1.58pm, weighing 8lb and 9oz. Everyone is delighted and mother and baby are doing well.”
Thrilled
Kensington Palace said in a short statement: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are thrilled for Pippa and James.”
Pippa, 35, married hedge fund manager James Matthews last year.
Last night a Made in Chelsea source said the cast of the E4 show were “thrilled” by the news.
The arrival comes just a day after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed they are expecting a baby.
Pippa – famous for her peachy bum display at her sister’s wedding – announced her pregnancy in June in her fitness column for Waitrose Weekend magazine.
She told readers she had passed through the first trimester without experiencing the severe morning sickness her older sister had with her three pregnancies.
“I was lucky to pass the 12-week scan without suffering from morning sickness,” she said.
“That meant I was able to carry as normal and continue my sports.”
Pippa and her husband James were married in May 2017 in a swanky ceremony which was attended by royals and celebrities.
Prince Harry, Princess Eugenie, Roger Federer and his wife Mirka were among the guests.
