WWE star grappling leukaemia

-

WWE wrestler Roman Reigns is quitting the ring to take on his biggest fight – against leukaemia.

The 33-year-old, whose real name is Joe Anoa’i, made the announcement on Monday night to open the episode of ‘Raw’.

The wrestler was originally diagnosed in 2008, but he quickly went into remission and has been fighting the disease since.

The four-time world champion (above) told fans he can no longer “be that fighting champion”.

He said: “Y’all have made my dreams come true.

“It didn’t matter if you cheered me or you booed me, you’ve always reacted to me and that’s the most important thing.

“And for that, I have to say thank you so much.”

Reigns told the WWE circle he plans to return to the ring when he gets healthy.

“I will beat this and I will be back so you will see me very, very soon,” he added. THE Battle of Hastings in 1066 DIDN’T take place in Hastings YOU wouldn’t know it to look at her but Kim Kardashian insists she’s SHY about sex!

The 38-year-old dropped her bombshell in an interview with

author Brett Easton Ellis for US magazine

Kim said: “It’s actually funny, at home I’m much more conservative than my public persona is.

“My public persona is wild, sexual. But I’m actually uncomfortable when I talk about sex, and I’m more conservative when it comes to that.

“But I’m vain like that. I can go on a set and be fully naked in front of 50 people doing a shoot, but if I’m one on one, intimate in bed, I’m like shy and insecure.”

Kim also revealed how she coped with the release, in 2007, of the sex tape that made her famous.

She said: “I thought that for Paris [Hilton, whose own sex tape was released in 2004], it was explosive and a super lot of attention for her too, in a positive way.

“But once you have those conversations with your parents and grandparents and everyone you’d be really embarrassed about it with, I think you get to a point where you’re like ‘Okay, we’re dealing with this legally and it’s time to move on’.”
