AN EVIL son faked his own kidnapping to extort money for drugs from his parents.

Jason Hillier, 20, is now behind bars for exploiting his old folks after pretending to be his own kidnapper.

His mum told cops she hadn’t seen her son for six days.

She also told police that within that time, someone called asking to free her son and his car.

They also called the son’s dad asking for £350.

Sheriff Robert Pickell said the mother sent £750 to a “drop spot” for someone to come and pick up the ransom.

He added: “When we got into the case, we checked all the tapes, the surveillance footage.

“And we see the defendant, Jason, picking up the check himself and driving off in his own car.

“The son is extorting his mother, shaking her down, because he has a drug problem and he needed the money for drugs.”

Before they got caught, Hillier and his friend, 40-yearold Michael Forester, allegedly asked his parents for another £100.

They set up a meeting time and police were there to arrest them.

Sheriff Pickell added: “What could be more frightful to a mother than to find out your son’s been kidnapped?”

Hillier and Forester, both from Flint, Michigan, are facing one count each of false pretences.
