Russell desperate to be really tasty at baking cakes

-

BAKE Off judge Prue Leith claims comedian Russell Brand sent her a cake to be judged WEEKS after being eliminated from The Great Celebrity Bake Off.

Russell, 43, is one of 20 stars lined up to take part in the Stand Up To Cancer charity special and will be joined by Jeremy Paxman, 68, and Michelle Keegan, 31, in the famous baking tent.

However, Russell (above) was reportedly so keen to be good at baking he sent Prue, 78, and fellow judge Paul Hollywood, 52, a cake he’d made weeks after filming ended.

Prue revealed: “I can tell you that Russell Brand went home, so inspired by his baking and everybody else’s baking, that he sent Paul and me a piece of cake to judge.

“It came fresh and it was delicious.”

The show will be hosted by Bake Off presenters Sandi Toksvig, 60, and Noel Fielding, 45, and will air next spring. DOLPHINS sleep with one eye open

Clad in a pair of flimsy pink hotpants and an oversized purple sports shirt, it’s hard to see why Danniella Westbrook is struggling to find love.

The actress, 45, took to Twitter to declare she was ready to date again – and these photos show what’s on offer for any red-blooded male.

As she launched her search for love she went to the woods for an outdoors bout of exercise – and found time to flick a charming middle finger to onlookers as she limbered up.

Blokes, form an orderly queue!
