HEROIN MISS GETS 10 YEARS FOR SEX WITH TEEN PUPIL
A HEROIN-smoking teacher will serve a lengthy spell behind bars after she admitted having a sexual relationship with an underage student.
Raquel Spencer was jailed for 10 years after pleading guilty to sexual assault on the youngster.
Spencer had been an English teacher at Northwest Whitfield High School in Whitfield County, Georgia, since 2013, and was an assistant at cheerleading and girls’ track and field training.
She was arrested in April 2018 after staff and students at school noticed her behaving unusually and notified school officials.
Spencer consented to a search and heroin was found in her locker. A day later, additional charges were added when investigators determined Spencer was sexually involved with the student, who cannot be identified. relationship with the underage student for at least a year.
Spencer must also serve 90 to 120 days in a probation detention center – a minimum security facility that provides counselling, life skills classes and substance abuse counselling.

A charge against Spencer for possession of a controlled substance was dropped as part of a plea agreement.

“It’s bad enough that this woman was taking heroin into school and even using it while she was there.
